Some Backstory

The Ordo Septenarius

Long ago, in the early days of our heroes' youth (well, our human heroes' youth, anyway!), many a late summer afternoon was spent relating their favorite tales of adventure. Armed with their trusty long swords (stout, oaken branches), magical staves (the same), and mounted on their faithful steeds (the versatility of a stout, oaken branch really is amazing!), these young hopeful heroes saved the world from the evil hordes of chaos almost every day. Always these fantasy adventures were fueled by the latest news and rumours of those legendary figures referred to collectively as The Circle of Eight. The young friends, our heroes-to-be, wanted nothing more than to experience for themselves the storied companionship and mythical exploits of the renowned Circle of Eight.

Ah, but the innocence of youth fades. The school-age fantasies make way to more mature, more adult, responsibilities. This age-old story is well known to most, and all succumb to the pressures of adulthood

Questions, Comments, Concerns?

I frequently have more than 5 different and disparate concerns ongoing at once. I believe the vast majority of people are the same way. Work, home, family, hobbies, entertainment - all can be significant distractions. I can't always "shift gears" to answer a question, or deal with a concern regarding my D&D game at the same moment that you want the question answered, or the issue resolved.

Because of these time/attention constraints, I believe we need a clear and useful way to asynchronously resolve these concerns as they appear.

The self-proclaimed Herzog Akitrom the Merely Worried is the latest in a long line of lords of Castle Greyhawk. He has initiated an intense campaign of advertisement meant to encourage worldly powers usch as the Queen of Celene and the petty nobles of the Wild Coast to send daring settlers to the lands about the castle.

Deities, Demigods, and Henchman, oh my!

Deities and Demigods

I have added a Greyhawk deities in the sidebar.

These deities are all that are known to exist in the World of Greyhawk (At least, for now). In an effort to simplify things, and as a continuation of my desire to recreate the feel and play of 1st edition AD&D circa the early 1980s, I've decided to acknowledge only those deities that had been detailed and introduced by Gary Gygax at that time.
